Debut Book: Light Pollution
The Sun is still coming.
Light Pollution examines family, identity, love, faith, and race through the motif of the ongoing battle between darkness and light. Both exist inside of us and out in the world, in our minds, in our emotions, in our cultures, and in our institutions. Though we are often tempted to view either in a “black and white” way, both combine to stimulate radical change. It is through this tension that we learn the most about ourselves and come face-to-face with everything we lack and everything we could ever hope for.
